Ready to Face Visibility?

Ready To Face Visibility?

I’m making a change in my business and am digging deeper into what specifically you can do to create more abundance in your business.

I talk a lot about embodying the frequency and energy of abundance.

But there are specific activities that you must take to bring abundance into your world.

These activities are MARKETING and SALES.

Yes, the very activities that you want to avoid at all costs!

But avoiding marketing and sales is costly in so many ways - ideal clients, profits, self-esteem, fulfillment, contribution, and helping the people you are designed to serve.

I want to help you uncover the reasons you may be avoiding marketing and selling your services so that you can begin to change your thinking and actions around these essential business activities.

Watch the video or read the article to learn that visibility does not have to be a dirty word.

Ready for More Visibility?

I'm changing up some things in my business, and I want you to be the first to know about them.

I've been talking about abundance for a long time. And I've really appreciated the feedback I've gotten from you about Abundance with Adele, the workshop that I've done, and Money Mindset Mondays.

As I thought about how I can really help the people that I want to help, I realized I had to take my work deeper.

To have more abundance, it's about mindset, it's about your vibration, it's about what you're willing to receive. Abundance is all of that, and it is also the actions you take in your business or in your career.

So what I settled on was helping women business owners face visibility.

Why Visibility?

It is so easy for us to want to hide - to keep our light under a bushel basket.

But that's not what we were made for.

And that's not what's going to build a business and build abundance in a business.

So that's what I'm coming to you with now - Mindset for Visibility.

It's a lot about mindset, and I'll talk more about that in future weeks.

But today, my question is, are you ready to face visibility?

If you have your own small business or if you work for a company or corporation, you have to show up.

You have to show up, you have to go to work.

You have to do the work, but you also want to be visible to the people around you so that they know the value that you provide. You want them to know that you're the one that they can count on for your specific skill sets.

And too often, women hide from that.

Why? There are lots and lots of reasons.

I've created a fear triangle about why we hide. There are many reasons but the top three reasons are these:

  • We're afraid we're going to be judged.

  • We're afraid we're going to be pushy.

  • And we're afraid that we're going to be rejected.

This is what we think visibility has to be.

But what if it didn't have to have to be that at all?

What if there were a way for you to discover how you can be visible authentically, graciously, and on your own terms?

What if that were possible?

And what if that meant that you got more ideal clients and that you could take your business to the next level?

What if it meant that you got to live the dream that you have for your business and for your work?

Visibility is important - it’s very important.

I’ve Heard This Too Often

Ever since I started doing business coaching. I've heard so many people say, “I love what I do, I just hate marketing and sales.”

Well, marketing and sales are an essential part of having a successful business. And when I say successful I mean profitable, one that contributes to others, and one that lights you up.

I don't know about you, but the months that I don't have very much coming in are very, very difficult.

And, really, there is no reason for us to hide.

There are lots of reasons we think we have to hide. we've been told as women to

  • be quiet,

  • be demure,

  • don't be too loud,

  • don't be too much,

  • don't be too intuitive,

  • don't have too many opinions.

We've all heard all of that and more. And so, culturally, we are not encouraged to be visible.

And yet that's what's called for to be successful in your business and in your career.

So, I've come up with a framework that will help you create your way to visibility on your own terms.

 It involves

  • Mindset,

  • Confidence, and

  • Habits

This framework will help you show up in your business in a very authentic and satisfying way.

My Story of Facing Visibility

I want to tell you a little story.

I used to work in television - behind the camera only. I worked for CBS News on Walter Cronkite’s Universe in New York City. Then I made computers and phones sing and dance for AT&T.

About 10 years later I started my own business, and one of my friends said, “You should be on video”. I was shocked.

I said, “There is no way in hell I'm gonna do that. I am not doing that. No, I am not doing that.”

So fast forward to a couple years ago when videos had become all the rage for marketing your small business.

Videos help people get to know you better. I knew it was a way for me to be more visible in my business, and so I decided to go for it.

I did three things that helped me get willing to do videos.

One - I decided that I would not be critical of the way I looked or the way I talked.

That was not easy, but it was the only way that I would get on camera.

Two - I did a 30-day Video Challenge with Niamh Arthur. [Find out more here]

Every day we made little videos every day. We would get feedback on them from people in our small group.

I would say to people in my group, “Oh I'm so ashamed of when I did blah blah blah”. And they would say, “I didn't notice that until you said something about it.”

I realized I'm definitely more critical of myself than anybody else is.

And now, I love doing videos.

Three - speaker training. I got used to getting up and talking to people in front of a room. And now that's not possible to do that with COVID-19, video is the best alternative.

I really love doing videos because it helps me tell people about what I do and how I can help them.

The moral of the story is that it is possible to make a 180 degree turn from refusing to be on video to loving it.

What’s Next?

I recommend that you think about what you’re willing to do to become more visible in your business. I'm not asking you to get on video if you don't like that. I'm not asking you to be pushy or sleazy or any of that.

I am asking you to think about what you would be willing to do to be a little bit more visible.

A good first step is to start clearing away some of that junk that you’ve picked up about what visibility is.

Simply, visibility is helping the people who you are here to help know that you exist and that you are the person to help them.

What does it look like in your world to decide on one little step toward visibility and actually do it?

That's what we're going to be talking about in the coming weeks.

If this is something that you would like to have an individual conversation about with me about, go to my website AdeleMichal.com. On the upper right hand corner, click on the Free Consultation button and choose a time that you can talk to me on Zoom.

There's a short questionnaire so I can get to know a little bit about what you're looking for. When we do speak for a complimentary 30-minute consultation, I’ll be right on it. I will know a little bit about how to help you.

Thanks for tuning in and thanks for all your support and your interest in, in the past.

I look forward to moving forward into more visibility with you and into more abundance. Thanks, I'll see you next time.
