Mother and Money - A Legacy

Money is fundamentally an energy exchange and can mean anything that you want it to mean. 

Believing money to be positive and available and seeing yourself as worthy of receiving it are keystones to growing your abundance and wealth.

I think often of what my mother, Patsy, left me. She’s been gone from this earth since December 2022. Adjusting to her absence has been difficult, sad, and liberating. As much as I loved her, I am now grateful to be free to live my own life out of her dominating shadow. 

I look like Patsy so I have much of her DNA, have many of her social tendencies (Patsy loved a good party and had many friends), and have inherited her appreciation of family and money stewardship.

Patsy inherited stock from her mother and father and grew her wealth over her lifetime. She lived well, but with frugality in mind, and generously took us on trips and funded our higher education.

It’s now my turn to tend to that money - to manage, enjoy, and grow it for my legacy to family and my communities. It has taken a continuously upgrading my abundance consciousness to identify as someone with assets instead of wanting and not having money.

It also takes continuous education in investing, tracking expenses, and understanding my values so that I am spending and investing in alignment with what’s important to me. 

I used to be afraid of money and ashamed of my money habits. Over time I have grown out of that fear and shame - through education, coaching, and healing into self-appreciation. 

Now I love talking about money and see it as a blessing - to me and others. As a wise person said, you can’t get sick enough to make someone else well, and you can’t struggle enough with money to make someone else rich.
