Financial Literacy & Abundance
Financial literacy is an essential part of having an abundant and happy life.
Yet many women shy away from learning about and being confident with money.
I understand why that is, but I'm committed that women own their value and receive appreciation, abundance, and money for what they do in this world.
With permission I'm sharing a recent email from one of my money mentors, Linda P. Jones. I encourage you to make 2023 the year you get more friendly with money and let it spend more time with you!

Many women end up in the position of having to trust someone who has financial knowledge.
It happened to me.
After my husband passed away, I had to rely on a tax attorney to help complete and calculate the estate tax return.
As a result of the tax attorney's calculation, he told me I owed $50k in estate taxes.
However, because of my financial knowledge, I was able to ask the right questions to my CPA and she agreed he had made a mistake in the calculation.
If I didn't have the financial knowledge to ask the right questions, I would have had to rely on what he said and pay the $50k in tax.
In reality, I didn't owe any tax. Yay!
Due to my financial knowledge, I was able to get myself out of an unnecessary expense, yet many women aren't even interested in learning about finances.
In fact, 70% of women say they would rather talk about their own death than talk about money!
Yikes!
This year, let's resolve to get more women comfortable with talking about money.
Whether they learn by listening to podcasts, reading blogs, watching videos, or other means, now more than ever it is easy to become financially savvy.
It's not difficult or boring, it just takes an inner desire to know.
I know YOU are financially savvy, let's make sure all women feel more comfortable talking about money and financial matters (and yes, I'm aware that sometimes it is a woman who makes the financial decisions and their spouse or partner is disinterested!).
Make sure your spouse or partner is a part of the financial conversation.
Share how you enjoy learning about finances with a friend.
It is one of the most important things to know in order to have a happy life.
With knowledge, perpetual prosperity and financial freedom are within reach.
