Let’s talk about Receiving Prosperity. We talk a lot about prosperity. We try to create prosperity in our business, but are we really ready to receive prosperity. Watch the video to experience the energy clearing and infusion or read the article below.
I spent the weekend in the heart of America - near Prairie Home, Missouri - where the horse and cattle population outnumbers more than the human inhabitants in town and you have to drive a ways to shop. There corn and soybeans grow in abundance on rolling hills, guns are toted, and people know how to fix things and break horses.
Today we’re talking about aligning with prosperity. What does that mean? That means being 100% willing to be prosperous. Even though in your mind, you may think, “Oh, of course I want to be prosperous,” in your feelings, in your memories, in your body – you may not feel you deserve prosperity. You may think that it’s not right, that you haven’t done enough, or that somebody else deserves it more than you do.
Do you ever feel a conflict about going for more abundance when others around you are struggling? Do you wonder whether your doing well hurts others – that you should just keep struggling too? Here are my thoughts on these questions along with an Energy Clearing and Infusion of thoughts and beliefs that may prove more beneficial for your doing well in your business and having more to share with others.
You are probably completely confused about what you deserve. You may think you need another degree or certificate or 12 more years of experience or to become prettier/slimmer/richer before you deserve more clients and more money. I think that idea is wildly untrue and damaging to you and your business.
These questions probably often play in the back of your mind: “Can I buy a new pair of shoes?” “Can I afford a bigger home?” “Can I take a day off and not have my business or my family suffer?” “When do I get to take a REAL vacation?” Are you someone who wears shoes and clothes past their prime or lives in a place “that will do” or never takes a break to refresh and renew yourself?
I’m kicking off a new video series called More Abundance Live, and I’m introducing the energy work I’ve been doing for over 20 years. Energy work comes in many flavors, and it can seem weird if you haven’t experienced it before.
Money is a subject that most of us pay a tremendous amount of attention to. Whether we are always aware of it or not, often these questions are playing in our mind: Do I have enough money? Why aren’t I earning more? Why is it so hard to hold on to money? Am I spending enough or too much on myself? Will I have enough money for the future? Why is money so hard to talk about? Why do my partner and I always fight about money?
Last week I wrote about my realization of the many years spent trying to be “not me”. Trying to fit in, to do it “right”, to be approved of and included. A friend responded so generously with, “I love you being you.” Isn’t that a great message to receive? For sure, we women are encouraged, directed, and even programmed to be “not ourselves”. Whole industries – fashion, makeup, hair, diet, body image, etc. - and career directions are built on women fitting into certain norms and roles.
Recently a friend whom I hadn’t seen in years said to me, “I’ve been reading your emails and something has changed recently. I am now feeling drawn into what you are writing. What has changed?”
